Q.  How long does it take to get approved?
A. 
Every company is a little different, average approval times range from 3-14 business days.  Your health history and other factors may cause a delay - please be patient we do automatically rush every case as a courtesy at no additional charge

Q.  Are pre-existing conditions covered?
A. 
Maybe.  Every application goes through underwriting and during underwriting they can approve, approve with exclusions (most states), approve with rate up, or even decline your application.  Your prior insurance status is usually irrelevant to underwriting guidelines.  All individual insurance is subject to underwriting. 

Once underwriting is complete all new policies have a wait on pre-existing conditions, which is typically 12 months on most plans - meaning even if you are approved with no additional restrictions you might still have to wait 12 months to get benefits (including RX) for a pre-existing issue.  This 12 month period might be waived if you had prior CREDIBLE coverage with NO MORE than a 63 day lapse.  This does not mean you can not be declined or excluded as you go through underwriting first.

    Please email quotes@txinsuarnce.com include the LAST NAME of the primary applicant(s) and the company you applied for (i.e. UNICARE®, BCBS, etc., etc.,)
  • Pay Your Bill
    You may pay your UNICARE® bill by e-check , MasterCard, or Visa by calling toll free 877-264-0777.  Other carriers you must contact the carrier directly by calling the number on the back of your health insurance ID card.
  • Setup Automatic Bank Draft with UNICARE®
    If you have UNICARE® Individual Health Insurance there is no easier way to pay your bill then AUTOMATIC BANK DRAFT.  This will also avoid the $5 "paper statement" fee imposed.  Click Here to download Bank Draft form mail in with voided check.  Please allow 7-14 days for processing, if your bill is already late call 877-264-0777 to make a payment by phone and mail bank draft form for the next month's draft
  • Request Duplicate ID Cards / Duplicate Policy
    Email quotes@txinsurance.com with the primary account holder(s) name and the company you applied for (i.e. UNICARE®, BCBS, etc., etc.,)  Please allow 7-14 business days for postal delivery.
  • Change Your Plan
