APPLYING - How long does my application take to process?
Average processing time is 3 to 10 business days, but each company
processing time can vary based on your medical history. We ask that
you respond to all phone calls, emails, and help us expedite your
application for you.
APPLYING - Will I receive the rate I was quoted online or by phone?
Around 80% or higher do receive the "preferred" rates quoted.
Rates are higher based on your height and weight, tobacco use, or medical
history with most health insurance companies. Please note we try our
best to quote accurately but all applications are subject to underwriting
which is determined directly from the carrier.
APPLYING - When is my effective date?
Each carrier assigns an effective date based on what you request or when
your policy was activated - we do not have full control over effective dates
and no coverage is in place until you have been approved and received such
notification, including your ID number.
APPLYING - When will I be charged?
Ask your agent representative - usually charges are when you apply (just
like if you were buying any other product), which will pay for the first
month (if monthly). Being charged is not an indication of policy
approval - if you are declined you will receive a check or credit back less
any application fees , if applicable. Please note if you payment fails
you will have no coverage and no application in process.
10 DAY FREE LOOK
We stand by every policy we sell and all policies have a 10 day FREE
LOOK period if the policy you selected is not the right one for you - no
problem we can help you find an alternative plan or you may cancel for a
full refund, less any applicable application fees. Please note the
full refund period is 10 days from approval or when your policy arrives -
you can not cancel months later for a full refund. Please also note
any claims paid will be due back to the carrier if canceling during free
look period, and further claims will not be paid (because you canceled).
Please ask your insurance carrier for full details, we do not handle
cancelation requests at our agency - please call your carrier directly.
Verbal cancelation requests can not be honored.
